Quailway Cottage is a lovely southwestern guest cottage located on 80 acres of former ranch land. The 600 square-foot private cottage includes a fully furnished kitchen, dining area and living room combination, large sitting bedroom with satellite television (DirecTV) and DVD, full bath, walk-in closet, and full laundry facilities. The bedroom sitting area has a private entrance with a covered patio that overlooks a small wildlife pond, providing excellent bird and wildlife watching and pleasant outdoor relaxation. The covered front entrance also has a sitting area.

Sleeping accommodations include one twin and one queen bed in the bedroom and a twin daybed in the living room area. The cottage has air conditioning and central heating for year-round comfort and a Franklin wood-burning stove. A private picnic area with a gas grill and table is located just outside the cottage for the use of our guests.

For those not wanting to cook, meals are available at small local cafes in Portal and Rodeo (map). Supplies may be purchased in Tucson or Willcox, Arizona, if you are coming from the west; in Deming or Las Cruces, NM, if you are coming from the east; and in Douglas if you are coming from the south. Essential needs may be purchased locally at small stores Portal and Rodeo.
